Rumi

Rumi

Here is the person who inspires me most. His  name is Jalal-ad- Din Muhammed Balkhi, and more populary in English speaking world simply as Rumi. Iranians, Turks, Arghans, Tajiks and Asian muslims have greatly appreciated his spiritual legacy in past seven centruies.  His poems and stories transcend national and ethnic boards. He is a theologist and sufi Anatolian mystic who advise to be good to every creature.

I wanted to share my favorite poems  and quotes with you.

"Come, whoever you are! Wanderer, worshipper, lover of leaving. This is not a caravan of despair. It does not matter if you’ve broken your vow a thousand times, still yet again come! "

"Stop acting so small. You are the universe in ecstatic motion."

"Don’t grieve. Anything you lose comes around in another form."

"Why are you so enchanted by thi s world , when a mine of gold lies within you? "

"There is a morning inside you waiting to burst open into Light."

"All religions, all this singing, one song. The differences are just illusion and vanity. The sun's light looks a little different on this wall than it does on that wall, and a lot different on this other one, but it's still one light."
